We need to evolve because our environment changes. It’s important to remember that evolution is a really slow process, it usually takes many generations for a big change to happen.

One good example of why we evolve could be disease immunity. If there’s a deadly disease and some people are immune to it and some aren’t, everyone who gets the disease will die, and quickly as a species we will all become immune to it as those left will have children who are also immune. That’s very simplified, but generally anything that gives us a better chance of survival should become more common.

What do you think humans will evolve next?
