I went to school in America so I didn’t have to do GCSE. I always did well at exams though, though not as well in my ordinary school marks!

Like Joanna, I didn’t do my studies in the UK, but in Portugal (where I come from) so I didn’t do gcse. I did have national exams and I had good marks for Biology, Maths, Portuguese and Psichology (equivalent to an A) but I did rahter badly in my Chemistry one (probably a C- or something). I blame the teacher though 😉

4A*, 6A, 1B – I worked really hard for my GCSEs, and I was super proud of this result! I think it also helped that my dad said he’d give me £50 for every A I got! For A-level I got A, B, C

I got 7 A*s, 3 As and a B. I think working hard for your GCSEs is really worthwhile, but if you don’t get the grades you want, it doesn’t mean you can’t be a scientist!
