      There are a few examples of this. If you have pets you probably know that many species can communicate with humans, and can easily be trained to do this, but in the wild it happens too. Where different monkey species live in the same area, they often understand each others’ alarm calls. We know this because if you play back a call that is made when an eagle is nearby (they can eat monkeys) all of the monkeys will run down from the trees to the ground to avoid it, even if they’re different species from the one calling.
