• Question: are there different species of human that we dont know about because we all look the different anyway?:)

      No, humans are all the same species, which in latin is called Homo sapiens. In the past people thought that there were different human breeds or races, a bit like in dogs, but even that is not true. Although we can look very different that is only because there are different human populations slightly adapted to different habitats but we are all absolutely just one species.

      As Renata said, all humans are the same species. Before we understood the science behind species though, early scientists thought that chimps were pygmy humans! This isn’t such a crazy idea as it sounds, given how similar they turned out to be, but definitely very different species 🙂
