I know that pygmy marmosets are so small when they’re babies that they can wrap around your finger! That’s the smallest monkey, but I’m sure there are smaller mammals 🙂
A very recent fossil discovery suggests that the earliest ancestor of both humans and monkeys was a really tiny primate called “Archicebus”.
