Question: If baboons were extinct what affect would it have on the human race?

That’s a very philosophical question! In the local areas, it may have quite a big affect. Baboons eat seeds, and by pooing in other areas they spread them, which is a very important function in maintaining forests and grasslands. It would probably lead to a big increase in other species that feed on the same things too, and you might end up overrun with ants and termites as they eat a lot of those every day!
