• Question: has anyone ever been eaten by a squid and if so how??

      There are lots of legends of sailors being attacked by giant squid the size of their boats…who knows if they were based on some real event (that got exaggerated over time, likemost good stories!)

      There are some squid which have attacked people before, but it’s incredably rare. Squid are generally quite small, so they might hurt, but are unliky to be able to kill. The Humbold squid in Mexico has apparently attacked people (with their two tentacles and their sharp beak). But scientists who study them say that this is probably because people were wearing shiny things and the squid either mistook them for a fish or were simply curious, and the person thought they were being attacked, when really the squid was just having a feel!

      There is also the giant squid, and some people have claimed they have attacked boats before…but again, I don’t know of any video footage or verified accounts of squid eating people!

      I had to do quite a bit of research into this one, it’s an interesting question! I can’t find any evidence of a squid eating a human, though there seem to have been a few attacks. There is a video of a giant squid eating a cow!
