  There are actually people working on a manned mission to Mars right now! The problems at the moment are that the radiation would kill us, and it could only ever be a one way trip. You can apply to be part of a new colony on Mars, but with the radiation issues it may be a long time before it happens…
  
  We would have to farm and grow things to eat – there are no other planets we know of with forests and oceans like earth, so we’d have to create food for ourselves. Perhaps it will happen within our lifetimes 🙂
